A beautiful baby girl grew into an adventurous toddler who loved cooking with her kitchen set and cleaning with her pint-sized vacuum Her dogs were her best friends. She loved them and her Dad and me with big bear hugs and all of her heart.
A natural student, she excelled in all her classes. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned her Master of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University, and graduated as a Doctor of Philosophy specializing In Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Capella University.
During her career at Highmark Health she worked as a Human Resource Business partner, Lead Business Technical Analyst, Workforce Analytics Consultant then as a Data Scientist. During these years she served as Chairwoman of the Abilities Business Resource Group, and organization of employee volunteers who worked to support the success of people with disabilities in the workplace, marketplace, and Community. Prior to her career at Highmark she also worked in Human Resources at PNC Financial Services and Transworld Entertainment.
All of her degrees and career achievements were earned despite her hidden disability of pan-hypopituitary disorder.
She was a sweet, caring, kind, articulate, ambitious, and beautiful young lady. She was our best friend and the brightest part of her Dad’s and my lives.
She was gone in an instant from sudden cardiac arrest. As an organ and tissue donor, her last gifts enabled others to achieve more lengthy and enriched lives.
